Synopsis: The newsroom is abuzz with information about the missing children being taken by "The Ripper." Clark starts investigating the latest crime scene. Lois calls him to let him know Lucy, her sister, is missing. He volunteers, as Superman, to investigate the sewers. He discovers he can view things in a different spectrum and hones it to find the creature. Battle ensues and the creature gets away, without trying to harm Superman. He finds Lucy and more writing the creature is doing. Superman thinks the writing is not English, but symbols that mean something else.
