Synopsis: The head of a local tribal casino asks Dex to find her granddaughter Charlotte. At Charlotte's apartment Dex is assaulted by Dill and Whale and warned off, then picked up by different thugs who take her to local crime lord Hector Marenco, who also wants to find Charlotte. Dex gets a call from Charlotte, and asks her to meet up at a local bar. Charlotte doesn't show. Leaving the bar, Dex is kidnapped at gunpoint by Dill and Whale, who take her to the river and shoot her, unaware she is wearing body armor.
